The Mo Ibrahim Leadership Fellowship was created in 2011 to support and guide the next generation of exceptional African leaders.
During the 12-month program, fellows will improve their leadership and technical skills by working on policy design and research. A unique aspect of this fellowship is that participants are personally mentored by leaders of the host organizations.
Fellows also join the Now Generation Network (NGN), where they continue to offer their knowledge and skills to support Africa’s growth.
Eligibility Criteria for the Mo Ibrahim Leadership Fellowship 2024:
To be eligible for this fellowship, you must meet the following requirements:
- Be a citizen of an African country.
- Have at least 7 years of relevant work experience.
- Hold a master’s degree.
- Be under 40 years old (or under 45 for women with children).
- Meet any extra criteria set by the host organization.
