Chevening Leicester Partner Scholarship Details:
The University of Leicester is excited to introduce the Chevening-Leicester Partner Scholarship, a fantastic chance for students from Chevening-eligible countries to further their education.
Since 2013, the University of Leicester has hosted over 60 Chevening Scholars from around the world and is a proud member of the Association of Commonwealth Universities.
For the 2025-26 academic year, this scholarship will provide two fully funded spots, covering all expenses, so that recipients can focus entirely on their studies without financial stress.

Eligibility for the 2025 Chevening Leicester Scholarship:
To apply for the 2025 Chevening Leicester Scholarship, you need to:
- Be from a Chevening-eligible country.
- Apply for or be enrolled in a one-year Master’s program within the College of Social Sciences, Arts, and Humanities or the School of Geography, Geology, and the Environment.
- Plan to start your program in September 2025.
Additionally, applicants must meet the general Chevening Scholarship requirements, including:
- Holding citizenship of a Chevening-eligible country.
- Agreeing to return to your home country for at least two years after finishing your studies.
- Having a bachelor’s degree that qualifies you for postgraduate study in the UK.
- Possessing at least two years of work experience (about 2,800 hours).
